Dr. Arnold Kanarick has served as the Human Resource Officer for four New York Stock Exchange companies. He has a deep knowledge of the best human resource practices across a variety of industries, including organization effectiveness, change management, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, development, diversity and employee communication.
Dr. Kanarick's most recent assignment was as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Bear Stearns & Co., Inc., which was voted the "most admired" securities firm by Fortune magazine in 2005. Prior to joining Bear Stearns in 2000, Dr. Kanarick served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Limited Brands, one of the world's largest specialty retailers (whose brands include Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Express, and Henri Bendel) with over 300,000 employees. In that role he was instrumental in changing the governance model and culture of the organization. In 1999, he was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources and currently serves as a member of the Personnel Roundtable. Michael Pilnick, the Founder and Partner of the Global Development Group, LLC, has broad experience in both domestic and international environments across a variety of industries with a focus on change management. His highly practical and creative approach delivers measurable results in productivity, revenue, and profitability by maximizing his clients' human capital. Pilnick's career encompasses senior level positions with leading corporations and consulting firms including Columbia House Company in New York, where he led the change management effort, driving Columbia House Company's transformation to a profitable business in less than two years. Prior to joining Columbia House, Pilnick was a Senior Manager in the Organizational and Human Performance Group of Accenture Consulting. He is currently on the Board of Directors for 30Seven Design, an interactive marketing and design group.
Managing a team of consultants, Pilnick has implemented a wide variety of projects for diverse clients in the manufacturing, automotive, shipping, energy, entertainment, direct marketing, consumer products, and technology industries. Bill Simon is Senior Client Partner of Korn/Ferry International's Global Entertainment/Media practice. The entertainment/media practice encompasses all aspects of traditional entertainment - film, television, home entertainment, music and publishing - and the emerging on-line media. Simon is recognized in Nancy Garrison-Jenn's survey of the top 200 global executive recruiters and is ranked among the top 35 in CableFax Magazine's most influential in cable. He has served as the chairman of Korn/Ferry's shareholder's committee and on the firm's worldwide board of directors.
Simon established the entertainment division at the investment banking and brokerage firm, Communications Equity Associates. In that position, he was involved in transactions that included music, home video, theatrical exhibitions, and television programming. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Heron Communications, Inc. In this position, Simon was involved in the development of new business for its home video company, Media Home Entertainment, as well as general corporate management. He previously served as the Deputy Staff Secretary to President Jimmy Carter. Simon has a BA in political science from the University of California, Berkeley. to the top
